The Institute of Urology specialises in all areas of the field of urology

Our focuses at the Institute of Urology include the diagnosis and conservative and surgical treatment of tumours in the field of urology (urological oncology).

We treat adrenal and renal (kidney) tumours, retroperitoneal tumours, ureteral and urethral tumours, urinary bladder tumours, and cancers of the prostate, penis and testicles. For many years we have pursued the aim of maximum organ and functional preservation. By means of specialisation, we have developed a wide repertoire of reconstructive surgery of the upper and lower urinary tract, including the urethra, and integrated the conservative laparoscopic surgical technique (MIC or minimally invasive urologic surgery) into our urological procedures.
